Thanks to their compatible interfaces, the new LRXplus can be combined with practically any system - be it with injection molding machines from KraussMaffei or other manufacturers, or with any other automation task. Visitors to Fakuma can experience the market debut of the new linear robots live at the KraussMaffei stand (October 15 - 19, Hall A7, Stand 7303). The new LRXplus will be demonstrated in a multi-component application on an all-electric PXZ 121 and as an innovative stand-alone version in combination with a popcorn machine.

The new LRXplus linear robots are particularly robust and are characterized by a long service life. The traversing axes have a new profile geometry and are now made of crash-resistant aluminum or steel. This not only reduces unplanned downtimes to a minimum, but also enables cost-effective maintenance.

The LRXplus also stands for enhanced functionality and user-friendliness in the area of control technology with the new MC7 control. The new user interface is intuitive and impresses with freely configurable operating buttons. In addition, the proven teaching function has been further improved so that the desired movement sequence can be implemented quickly.

The overall result is an optimized user experience, which is also ensured by the new 10'' multi-touch display. This saves valuable time both during setup and operation.

The new LRXplus retains the proven advantages of the LRX series from KraussMaffei. These include, for example, high precision thanks to high-performance rack and pinion drives on the axes and a high residual load capacity of the robots.

The powerful servomotors continue to ensure fast acceleration and synchronous movements reduce cycle times. In addition, the absolute encoder (multiturn) eliminates the need for time-consuming referencing when starting the robot. This in turn speeds up the start-up of the robot and the start of production.

The LRXplus takes over the automation tasks in the multi-component application on an all-electric PXZ 121. KraussMaffei demonstrates how flexibly the LRXplus can be integrated into any peripheral equipment with a creative approach: in the stand-alone version, the LRXplus cooperates with a popcorn machine and serves visitors fresh popcorn – just flexibly, safely and deliciously.
